In one of the most powerful sessions at AI Week, led by Commit and Calcalist in collaboration with Microsoft, Arik Faingold, Chairman of Commit and founder of Pentera and Autonomy AI, drew a sharp comparison that resonated across the room. The Industrial Revolution took two centuries. The AI Revolution is unfolding in half a generation. In his conversation with Roee Bergman, Arik emphasized that AI has become the new operational engine for modern organizations, and those who hesitate risk losing their competitive position. From the rapid evolution of GPUs to LLMs and now AI agents, the acceleration is unlike anything we have seen before, and the market is already moving toward trillion-dollar potential.

Arik shared a clear roadmap for both startups and enterprises navigating this new landscape. Startups must build AI at the core, with defensibility rooted in proprietary data and deep domain expertise. Enterprises need to begin with education, reduce internal anxiety, create a shared language, and continuously identify AI-driven opportunities across teams. Creativity is emerging as the new KPI, as innovation and curiosity now drive true value. Arik also underscored Israel’s unique position to lead in applied AI, leveraging its problem-solving mindset and interdisciplinary strength. His message sets the tone for 2026: the future belongs to organizations with the curiosity to explore, the courage to lead, and the readiness to act now.
